An elderly Tuskegee Airman had his money and car stolen in two separate incidents Sunday night in St. Louis. According to police, it all began when the 93-year-old WWII veteran got lost while on his way to his daughter's home at about 11:30pm local time.
Sgt. John Watson served during World War II as one of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first group of African American aviators in U.S. history. But the 96-year-old veteran was never formally recognized for his service. That just changed in an amazing way.
