Investigators will meet with lawyers from the District Attorney’s office in Salt Lake City to decide if additional charges should be filed against a teen who punched a referee, resulting in his death.
Forty-six-year-old Ricardo Portillo was punched in the head by a 17-year-old soccer player after he issued the teen a foul during a game. Portillo fell into a coma and died on Saturday night. The teen is now facing charges of aggravated assault.
