U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the former American prisoner of war in Afghanistan who was freed in a 2014 swap for five Taliban detainees, has asked President Obama for a pardon.
U.S. Army Sgt. Matt Vierkant (Ret.), a former member of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's platoon, told Bill O'Reilly tonight that Bergdahl had spoken to him about "getting lost" in the mountains in Afghanistan before he disappeared in 2009.
