A Russia Today anchor is making headlines for quitting on air in protest of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
A Russia Today anchor announced her resignation on the air, saying she could no longer work for a network that "whitewashes the actions" of Vladimir Putin. Liz Wahl, who worked out of the Russian broadcaster's Washington, D.C. bureau, said her grandparents fled Hungary to the U.S. to escape Soviet persecution in the 1950s.
