Michael Morgan, a meteorologist in Oklahoma is facing serious criticism that he’s to blame for the deaths of five people in last month’s tornado. A woman named Virginia Shrum said she and her family were watching coverage on KFOR, an NBC affiliate, while discussing whether to hide in the house or leave.
Investigators will meet with lawyers from the District Attorney’s office in Salt Lake City to decide if additional charges should be filed against a teen who punched a referee, resulting in his death.
Forty-six-year-old Ricardo Portillo was punched in the head by a 17-year-old soccer player after he issued the teen a foul during a game. Portillo fell into a coma and died on Saturday night. The teen is now facing charges of aggravated assault.
