A letter from House Judiciary Committee Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) to Attorney General Eric Holder expresses "great concern" about Holder's May 15 testimony to Congress about the investigation of journalists. Republicans now want Holder to respond to a series of eight questions.
Rep. Jim Sensenbenner (R-Wis.) had some strong words for Attorney General Eric Holder, telling him that it seems like the Justice Department over the past few years refuses to accept responsiblity "for things that have gone wrong."
"May I suggest that you and Mr. [Deputy Attorney General James] Cole and some others go to the Truman Library and take a picture of the thing that he had on his desk that said 'the buck stops here'? Because we don't know where the buck stops and I think to do adequate oversight, we better find out and we better find out how this mess happened," he said.
