Parents, listen up. There’s a new app raising bullying concerns at schools across America. “Yik Yak” is an app that allows people to post anonymous messages online that are seen by others within a mile and a half radius.
“Rebecca’s Law” would make bullying a criminal offense. There would be two levels: Bullying, a misdemeanor, and aggravated bullying, a felony.
A mother posted a photo on Facebook to punish her daughter for cyber-bullying. The girl is seen holding up a sign explaining that she made "poor choices with social media and will be selling her iPod to donate the proceeds to an anti-bullying organization.

Two girls, ages 12 and 14, have been arrested in the tragic suicide of a Florida girl who jumped to her death from a tower at an abandoned concrete plant. Police say Rebecca Sedwick, 12, faced constant torment at the hands of the two suspects for nearly a year before taking her own life last month.
