Sens. Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin III of West Virginia met with the president, as did two liberal Republican senators, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
Collins has previously voiced concern over the court potentially reversing Roe v. Wade, which made abortion legal nationwide.
