Hannity: Dems in 'Psychotic State of Denial,' Now Turning Their 'Rage' on AG Barr
Sean Hannity said Monday that Democrats have reached a "psychotic state of denial" about the Mueller report and have turned their "rage" toward Attorney General Bill Barr.
"The Democratic mob is out of control, grasping at straws," he said, pointing out that four separate investigations concluded there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
"Nothing the Democratic, hate-Trump mob says is going to change that."
He said the current predicament for Democrats is worse than 2016 election night, as many believed Mueller would lay out a collusion-related case.
"Look at the liberal tears, the panic, mayhem and downright unhinged nature of everybody. The hysteria continues. ... The rage Trump mob has a new favorite target. They have to blame somebody for the lies they told, the conspiracies and the hoax they believed and spread," he said, calling out Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) and others for accusing Barr of breaking the law.
"You have to have him sit for a hearing and you have to have him locked up until he agrees to participate and come to the hearing," said Cohen, calling on the Sergeant at Arms to physically detain Barr until he testifies before the House Judiciary Committee.
Hannity responded, "Congressman Cohen wants to handcuff the attorney general of the United States, have the sergeant of arms drag him before the committee or to prison. No trial, no charges, nothing. Welcome to Saddam Hussein's USA."
Barr refused to appear at a hearing last week after House Democrats said they would have legal staffers question him.
