Hannity: Criminal Indictments Coming Against 'Bad Actors' Who Started Trump-Russia Probe
AG Barr: IG report coming on FISA warrant process.
Sean Hannity delivered a powerful opening monologue Tuesday night, predicting an "avalanche" against "Deep State" actors who may have abused their power to launch an investigation of President Trump's campaign in 2016.
"To those who have abused power inside and outside of government, you are about to face the justice that many of you deserve," he declared, focusing on testimony by Attorney General William Barr to House lawmakers.
Barr stated in the hearing that, "The Office of the Inspector General has a pending investigation of the FISA process in the Russian investigation. And I expect that that will be complete in -- probably, in May or June, I am told. More generally, I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around all of the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016."
Hannity said when the full Mueller report and much more is made public, it will confirm the extensive reports and investigations he has brought viewers over the last 2.5 years. That has included allegations of abuse of the FISA warrant application process by the FBI and of anti-Trump bias within the bureau, most notably by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Hannity said it's now becoming clear that the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a "giant hoax," as the media and Democrats are now moving to "new conspiracy theories," such as demanding access to Trump's tax returns.
"The pendulum is swinging. The boomerang is now headed right back to the top, the Deep State actors. They will all be held accountable. Mark my words: Criminal indictments are coming," he said, later discussing the situation with Fox News legal analyst and author Gregg Jarrett.
Jarrett said the headline that people should be focusing on is that Barr is "personally reviewing" the conduct of the FBI in launching the probe.
"He knows, and there is a plethora of evidence, that the process by the FBI was corrupted by political bias and personal animus," he said.
