Second Lady Karen Pence and her daughter, Charlotte, joined the "After the Show Show" on Fox Nation to talk about their new book, "Marlon Bundo's Day in the Nation's Capital."

The book is the next installment in a series based on the imaginative life of the Pence's pet rabbit, Marlon Bundo.

Charlotte Pence said the book is an opportunity to "write about the freedoms and liberties we have" and to do so in a fun way through the eyes of Bundo.

Karen Pence said there is so much history and patriotism about D.C., adding that one of her favorite spots to visit is the Iwo Jima Marine Corps War Memorial.

She said the memorial, which actually lies across the Potomac outside Arlington, Va.'s Fort Myer military installation, sits atop a high point overlooking all of downtown Washington.

Steve Doocy asked Charlotte if she might follow her father into politics, noting the interest she expressed through her Marlon Bundo books.

The 25-year-old said she enjoys commenting on politics and writing about it but will not likely follow the vice president in that regard.
