Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren said she hopes to inspire people on both sides of the political aisle to stand up for themselves.

In her forthcoming book, "Never Play Dead," Lahren tells her side of the story about her exit from The Blaze and arrival at Fox News, where she now hosts "No Interruption" on the Fox Nation streaming platform, along with her fiery twice-daily commentaries.

Lahren said her motto in life is "stand up for yourself" despite what backlash you may receive and that has helped her find her voice.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Tomi Lahren

Now living in southern California, Lahren said many people often ask her why she lives in the politically liberal area. But she said "time and time again" she hears from people on both sides of the aisle that are inspired by her forcefully speaking her mind.

"We should all just be able to speak our minds and not worry about being bullied for it," she explained on "Fox & Friends."

Lahren also commented on President Trump heading to California today to survey a section of the border wall under construction.

"We've got to fix that border. It's a crisis," she said.

"Never Play Dead" is available for pre-order now and will be released July 2.
