Tomi: Democrats See Surging Illegal Immigration Numbers as 'Opportunity,' Not a Crisis
CBP: 3,700 apprehensions at the border in 1 day.
Following the release of stunning new numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren slammed Democrats for refusing to address the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Monday, the agency tweeted that there were more than 3,700 apprehensions along the southwest border the previous day -- the largest single day total in more than a decade.

U.S. border authorities reportedly are predicting that the number of illegal immigrants stopped at the southern border could reach as high as one million by the end of the year.
On "Fox & Friends" Wednesday, Lahren said it's "absolutely unacceptable" that Democrats refuse to acknowledge and address the crisis.
"They don't see it as a crisis. They see it as an opportunity," Lahren said. "They see it as an influx of new dependents, new voters, new supporters, and this is something that they are banking on."
She said President Trump is doing everything in his power to secure the border and keep Americans safe, while Democrats are content to "look the other way."
"Quite frankly, they want this to happen. They are celebrating these surges in illegal immigration numbers," Lahren said.
She said that's why it's critical that people support the president in his push for more border security funding and his 2020 re-election campaign.
"It's gonna be a fight, but it's one that we have to fight for the sake of this country."
