A Lebanon, Tennessee, military father pulled off the surprise of a lifetime, returning from deployment to shock his young son at his taekwondo class.

Army Staff Sgt. Rob Cesternino stepped onto the mat while his 9-year-old son, Luca, was sparring blindfolded with his instructor. Rob stepped in and sparred with his son for a few seconds, calling him by his nickname.

After he heard his dad's voice, Luca took off the blindfold and then gave Rob a huge hug.

The emotional reunion video even got the attention of President Trump, who tweeted the clip and wrote "Really beautiful to see!"

Father and son joined Steve Doocy and Jedediah Bila on "Fox & Friends" Thursday, to look back on the emotional moment.

Rob, who was away from his family for nearly a year as a member of the Tennessee National Guard, said he wasn't surprised at how much attention the video has gotten.

"Sometimes, unfortunately, we get wrapped around with the negative, but our lives in America truly are so positive every day. It's exactly what I expected from our country," he said.

Luca said during his dad's deployment, he just missed "hanging out" with his father each day.
