Loesch on CA Woman's Murder: 'Innocent People Are Paying' for Dems' Sanctuary Policies
Dana Loesch railed against sanctuary policies after an illegal immigrant was arrested in the stabbing death of a California woman.
Carlos Eduardo Arevalo Carranza, 24, was arrested Monday night in connection with the murder of 59-year-old Bambi Larson, who was found dead at her home Feb. 28.
Surveillance video and DNA samples helped police track down Carranza, who has an extensive criminal history and six separate detainer requests against him via Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, Loesch, a nationally syndicated radio host, said this horrific crime could have been prevented if the state of California was as interested in protecting its citizens, as it was in protecting people who enter the U.S. illegally.
She noted that Carranza's rap sheet includes arrests for possession of methamphetamine, burglary and battery of an officer.
"Why are sanctuary city advocates making excuses for thugs like these?" she asked.
"Innocent people are paying in blood for the sanctuary city policies that Democrats -- including all of the 2020 Democrat presidential primary contenders -- are supporting."
