In his "My Take" commentary Monday on Fox Nation, Stuart Varney said that the more the truth is revealed about socialist policies put forth by some Democrats, the "less popular [socialism] becomes."

Varney said that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up about 8,000 points since the 2016 election, despite some market swings and non-stop attacks against President Trump.

"[Trump] has been called a liar, a racist and heaven knows what else," Varney said. "[But that's] had little effect on your money."

Varney said that capitalism is alive and well in America under Trump and that the more that socialism is exposed, the more its reputation suffers.

He said that several candidates are supporting socialist policies -- showing images of Sens. Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

"The real danger to your money is socialism," he said.
