WATCH: Former ICE Agent Blasts 'Ridiculous' New Attack on Agency by Ocasio-Cortez
AOC labels ICE 'dangerous' after House vote.
A former ICE agent pushed back Monday against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's latest criticism of the agency.
The freshman New York City Democrat called ICE a "dangerous agency" in a tweet Saturday.
If you’re mad that I think people SHOULD KNOW when Dems vote to expand ICE powers, then be mad.
ICE is a dangerous agency with 0 accountability, widespread reporting of rape, abuse of power, + children dying in DHS custody.
Having a D next to your name doesn’t make that right.

Ocasio-Cortez criticized 26 of her House Democratic colleagues for joining with Republicans on an amendment requiring ICE to be notified if an illegal immigrant attempts to purchase a gun.
"I was upset that 26 Dems forced the other 200+ to vote for a pro-ICE provision at the last min without warning. Because I think an agency that pins children down + forcibly injects them w/ antipsychotic drugs shouldn’t be given more power," she tweeted.
Mark Kelly, who worked for ICE until 2015, said on "Fox & Friends" he was bothered by the remarks, accusing Ocasio-Cortez of making "scurrilous" claims.
He said the agency does more than immigration enforcement, which includes going after MS-13 gang members, such as investigating war criminals who've emigrated to the U.S.
"There is accountability within the agency and outside the agency. The idea that ICE operates without any parameters or oversight is, dare I say, ridiculous," said Kelly, adding the attacks on the agency "frustrate" ICE agents.
"They're asked to do a lot. It's essential to have the support of the public. When you don't have that, you start to question what you're doing."
