After former Vice President Joe Biden faced criticism for referring to Vice President Mike Pence a "decent guy" during a speech, Charlie Kirk is calling out the intolerance of many on the left.

Biden, a possible 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, made the remark Thursday during a foreign policy forum in Omaha.

Many social media users criticized Biden, including actress and activist Cynthia Nixon. The former "Sex and the City" star called out Biden's complimentary comment about "America's most anti-LGBT elected leader," and the former vice president walked it back.

On "Fox & Friends First," Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, said this episode highlights the current state of the Democratic Party.

"We conservatives believe that liberals are wrong, but liberals tend to believe that conservatives are bad," Kirk said.

He said Biden comes from a different era of U.S. politics, and right now many Democrats are so filled with rage that they cannot acknowledge that anyone on the right -- or even center-right -- is a decent person.

"If Joe Biden does get into the race, he's going to be stunned and he's going to look around and go, 'What happened to my Democrat Party?'" Kirk said.
