A South Jersey waitress was shocked when a police officer gave her a $100 tip on an $8 meal, along with a note congratulating her on her baby.

The note read: "Enjoy your first, you will never forget it."

Courtney English, who works at a diner near Lindenwold, said the officer wished to remain anonymous.

English said that after the officer left, the diner's hostess told her he left her $100.

"No he didn't," she recalled telling her colleague. "It was beautiful. I started to cry."

"It was really a blessing," English said, adding that the cop is a new father himself and wanted to wish her well.
