Sarah Sanders: 'Very Big Difference' Between Obama & Trump's Executive Actions
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders contrasted President Trump's national emergency executive action with President Obama's executive order implementing the DACA program for children of illegal immigrants.
"What President Obama did in 2014 completely ignored the Constitution and ignored federal law by opening up the border [and] providing benefits to illegal immigrants," she said.
Sanders said Trump conversely implemented a national emergency that "fulfills his Constitutional duty and oath that he took to protect the people of this country."
"There's a very big difference [between] the actions these two individuals have done," she said.
Sanders also reacted to conservative firebrand Ann Coulter ripping Trump on multiple occasions this week for his decision to sign a spending bill that does not include sufficient funding for a wall.
