On the new episode of "Moms" on Fox Nation, Carrie Turner Utz told the tragic story of how her mother and godmother were killed by a hit-and-run driver who was in Arizona illegally.

In a compelling sit-down with Rachel Campos-Duffy, Utz said her mom, Corine Turner, and godmother, Linda Davis, were struck on September 11, 2006 while on their daily two-mile walk in Gila Bend, about 80 miles north of the border.

Utz explained that the driver got out of his vehicle and checked on the two women as they were struggling to survive, but fled the scene instead of calling for help.

"He left them on the side of the road to die," said Utz, noting that one of the women's cell phones was lying in the road at the scene.

She said the suspect's family helped him evade police and flee to Texas, where he was caught trying to cross the border into Juarez, Mexico. The man received a sentence of two-and-a-half years in jail for the fatal hit-and-run crash, Utz said.

"I have heard he's now living in the same town I'm living in," she revealed.

Campos-Duffy was also joined by Mary Ann Mendoza, whose son Brandon - a police sergeant - was struck and killed in 2014 by an illegal immigrant drunk-driver. She also heard from Renea Perez and Jill Demanski, whose husbands serve in the U.S. Border Patrol.

Mendoza highlighted the record fentanyl seizure at an Arizona border crossing. The bust occurred January 26 when a tractor-trailer was stopped as it came through a legal port of entry in Nogales, Arizona.

The amount of the drug seized was enough to kill 57 million people. Mendoza said many on the left falsely claimed that the bust was proof that drugs are largely coming through legal ports of entry and not via remote areas where President Trump wants to construct a wall.
