Former Trump adviser Roger Stone said Monday on Fox Nation's "Liberty File" that the indictment brought against him is part of a "political prosecution."

Stone, 66, was taken into custody last month in an early-morning raid of his home by special agents in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of obstruction, making false statements and witness tampering as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's wide-ranging Russia probe.

Stone told Judge Andrew Napolitano Monday that he is "being punished for supporting Donald Trump for president."

"I’ve said repeatedly, I will not make up lies about the president in order to ease this incredible pressure on myself and my family. I am just not going to do it," he said.

Stone said that he's up against "a monolith," referring to Mueller.

"I am up against someone who answers to no one, who has no constitutional checks on them and who can violate not only my First Amendment rights but apparently my Fourth Amendment rights as well."

Stone appeared in court last week before Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson, entering a plea of not guilty.
