In her "First Thoughts" on Thursday on Fox Nation, Tomi Lahren addressed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and an invitation sent to her by the wives of border patrol agents.

Lahren said that Pelosi (D-Calif.) was upset after President Trump "grounded" a planned Congressional delegation trip to the Middle East, but that she should see the wives' invite as a good alternative.

As Fox News Insider previously reported:

The wives of Border Patrol agents recently invited House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the border in Texas so that she could get a firsthand look at the situation there.

Jill Demanski said Monday that she penned the letter to the California Democrat because she felt it was important for Pelosi to make an informed decision about what is actually happening at the border.

"We would like to show you around! You don't need to bring any security detail. Our husbands/significant others are actually very good at their jobs, thank goodness!" Demanski wrote.

Pelosi has repeatedly called President Trump's proposed border wall "immoral" and has pledged not to fund one under any circumstances.
