'Absolutely No Linkage': Longtime Friend of Trump, Stone Says Roger Never Got in Contact with WikiLeaks
Michael Caputo, a longtime friend of Roger Stone and a former Trump campaign adviser, said the famous political insider has "no linkage" to WikiLeaks in regard to Hillary Clinton's hacked emails.
"At no time had Roger ever thought WikiLeaks were the Russians," Caputo said.
Caputo said that Stone has proof a person he called an "intermediary" to Assange named Randy Credico was lying about him when it came to the situation.
Martha MacCallum played video of former CIA Director John Brennan reacting to Stone's indictment, in which he said that there was allegedly "an extensive effort to try and influence the outcome of the election."
"Did Roger Stone ever get in contact with WikiLeaks?" Caputo asked rhetorically. "Whether Julian Assange got the emails from the Russians or Santa Claus, there's absolutely no linkage."
