An "angel mom" slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Sunday over her opposition to President Trump's proposal to end the government shutdown.

Pelosi, D-Calif., tweeted her disdain with Trump's proposal shortly after the president's announcement, during which he offered Democrats a three-year protections extension for 700,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.

Mary Ann Mendoza, whose police officer son was killed in 2014 by an illegal immigrant with a criminal record who was drunken driving, said on Fox & Friends that there's almost "nothing more to say" when it comes to the House speaker.

"Her time's up," Mendoza said. "[Pelosi] needs to step down because she's out of touch with reality, and really she's losing a lot of respect from women in our country."

Mendoza said that Pelosi has refused to meet with her and other parents whose lives have been affected by illegal immigration.

She also said that there needs to be some type of DACA reform, but that conservatives should understand the give-and-take in negotiations.
