Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins joined Todd Starnes on Fox Nation's "Starnes Country" to recount her experience at Friday's March for Life in the District of Columbia.

Starnes said 250,000 people assembled to march against abortion and in support of the God-given right to life.

"The mainstream media ignores these kinds of stories," he said.

Hawkins said it was "an amazing time" on Friday afternoon, and that those assembled were not just politically conservative Americans.

She said that the pro-life movement unites people across both the generational and political spectrum.

Hawkins said that in the time since the Roe v. Wade decision became the law of the land, about 61 million children have been aborted.

"Who are we missing [in society]?" she asked. "Future political leaders? Scientists who may have cured cancer?"

Starnes said that, thankfully, Republican Donald Trump is the "most pro-life president" in a generation, and that he witnessed a large faction of young people joining Hawkins in the march.
