Former World Series MVP Curt Schilling joined Mark Levin on "Life, Liberty & Levin" on an episode that will air Sunday at 10 p.m.

Levin asked Schilling, who notably played pitcher for the Phillies, Red Sox and Diamondbacks, said he believes President Trump will be reelected in 2020.

"Game this out," he told Levin. "You know where we are right now. Trump's going to win in 2020 unless the Russians and Democrats get together again and try to rig another election."

Schilling said the ongoing partial government shutdown is evidence that Democrats will not give in no matter the consequences to themselves and others.

He said that Democrats insistence against compromising with President Trump on national security proves they will go "apoplectic" when he purportedly wins in 2020.

"They're not going to suddenly scale back," he said. "The left has proven they won't let it end until they get their way."
