Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is offering to school her fellow House Democrats on how to use social media.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), along with Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), will teach the “most effective ways to engage constituents on Twitter and the importance of digital storytelling,” at a Thursday session hosted by the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, according to reports.

“Perks of being in the Democratic Caucus: I will be teaching a Twitter class tomorrow morning open to all members,” she tweeted to her 2.43 million followers.

Ocasio-Cortez, a House freshman, uses Twitter frequently to state her policy positions, share opinions and call out her opponents, attackers and the media.

On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, Campus Reform editor-in-chief Lawrence Jones said it's indisputable that Ocasio-Cortez has used social media effectively, but she "falls short" when it comes to policy, facts and figures.

"She has that 'it factor,' even though she can't deliver," Jones said. "I always tell people, don't underestimate this girl, even though she sucks at policy."

He pointed to another political newcomer who connected with the American people via social media: President Trump.
