Although it was unknown if Pelosi (D-Calif.) was inside her office at the time of the protest, a video by nonprofit group "Women Vote Trump" claimed the speaker would not meet with the families.
At one point, the families holding signs of their lost loved ones began chanting "build the wall."
Agnes Gibboney, whose son was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant in 2002, said Wednesday on Fox & Friends First that Democrats' attitude toward Trump is immoral.
"Shame on them," she said. "When Nancy Pelosi said that she's gonna give $1 for our border wall, that's what ... every congressman should get as a paycheck, $1, because they don't deserve anything they're getting because they're doing nothing for citizens of this country."
Gibboney, who came to America legally from Hungary, said it's unfair for undocumented citizens to enter the country ahead of those trying to do so legally.
"This is a phony asylum. They're coming here to get jobs, and that's not a reason to be a refugee," she said.
Gibboney said that Trump's long-promised border wall isn't just for the president, it's for America.
"We need this wall to protect our citizens," she said.
