Viral Trump Critic Navarro Files Nails on CNN After Guest Brings Up Crimes by Illegal Immigrants
Dana Loesch calls behavior 'incredibly flippant.'
Syndicated radio host Dana Loesch slammed Republican strategist Ana Navarro for doing her nails Wednesday night during a CNN panel segment on border security.
Navarro, who has become a frequent critic of the Trump administration, was debating former Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes on the ongoing partial government shutdown and Trump's demands for funding for a border wall.

Cortes, president of the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council, said that even if some studies show that native-born Americans commit crimes at a higher rate than undocumented immigrants, it doesn't change the fact that "the illegal alien crime rate should be zero."
As Cortes spoke, Navarro sighed, rolled her eyes and began filing her nails.
Cortes responded, “You can do your nails. You know who can’t do their nails are people who have been killed, Ana, by dangerous known illegal aliens who have been allowed to stay in this country because of the leftist policies that people like you promote in so-called sanctuary cities.”
Know who can’t smugly file their nails Ana? Beautiful Hispanic Americans like Officer Brandon Mendoza and young mother Sandra Duran of Los Angeles. Know why? Because they’re dead — killed by illegal alien repeat offenders allowed to hide in plain sight in our country. https://t.co/8ECTWTuPZm

Navarro told Cortes she's "tired" of him and others calling her a leftist for her opposition to Trump's policies, as the two talked over each other on "Cuomo Primetime."
On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, Loesch condemned Navarro's "stunt," saying it's "incredibly flippant" to disregard the many families who have experienced tragedy at the hands of illegal immigrants.
She pointed to "Angel parent" Jamiel Shaw Sr., whose 17-year-old was killed in 2008 by a Mexican-born gang member who was a known offender.
"You're going to file your nails over that? You're going to call that a manufactured crisis?" Loesch said. "Say that to the faces of these individuals who have lost people. Say it to the women and children who have been exploited by coyotes."
She said that Shaw and countless others have seen firsthand the "destruction" caused by sanctuary policies and lax border security.
"I think when people have that experience and they hear those stories, there's no way -- if you have a heart -- that you can be as flippant about it as that."
