President Trump will deliver a national address from the Oval Office Tuesday night updating the country on the situation at the southern border.

Following Trump's remarks, which will air on Fox News Channel at 9:00pm ET, viewers can tune in to special coverage on Hannity followed by the "The Ingraham Angle" at 10pm ET.

The primetime address comes amid a partial government shutdown, during which both sides of the aisle have been unable to compromise on funding for border security, including Trump's long-promised border wall.

Stirewalt: Congress Won't Let Trump Declare National Emergency Over Border 'Crisis'

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders foreshadowed Trump's announcement, tweeting the president's plans to visit the border.

Fox News was told by a law enforcement source that Trump plans to visit the U.S.-Mexico border near McAllen, Texas later this week.

On Friday, Trump told congressional Democratic leaders that he'd be willing to keep the government shut down until his demands for border security are met.

The president has consistently asked for $5.6 billion for his proposed wall and additional border security measures, but House Democrats have been unwilling to budge. Democrats have said they will issue an address in response, accusing the president of attempting to mislead with his planned remarks.

Watch Trump's national address at 9:00pm ET on Fox News Channel.
