President Trump slammed Rep. Rashida Tlaib's crude comment about impeachment, saying the freshman Democrat dishonored her family and her country.

Speaking at a party hosted by liberal group MoveOn.org Thursday night, Tlaib (D-Mich.) concluded her speech by telling her supporters about a recent conversation with her young son.

"When your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look! You won! Bullies don’t win,’ and I said, ‘Baby, they don’t.’ Because we’re gonna go in there, we’re gonna impeach the motherf----r,” Tlaib said, drawing huge cheers.

"I thought her comments were disgraceful," Trump during a press briefing at the White House Friday.

"I think she dishonored herself and she dishonored her family," Trump continued. "Using language like that in front of her son and whoever else was there, I thought that was a great dishonor to her and to her family. I thought it was highly disrespectful to the United States of America."

Trump also said the topic of impeachment came up during his just-concluded meeting with top Democrats Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. He said Pelosi assured him Democrats are "not looking to impeach" him.
