First Lady Melania Trump blasted the press and other critics who have brought up her son Barron as a cudgel to bash the 12-year-old's father, President Donald Trump.

Sean Hannity asked Mrs. Trump about attacks on Barron Trump, and asked if he should be immune from criticism.

"Children should be off limits," she said.

"I protect him and I want to give him as normal a life as possible [and] give him the childhood he deserves," Mrs. Trump said.

She added that her "Be Best" initiative is also all about protecting children and promoting their well-being.

Trump also reacted to the #MeToo movement and scurrilous allegations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation process.

Later on "Ingraham Angle," Fox News host and media analyst Howard Kurtz said "no other modern first lady has been treated like this," pointing to mockery of her accent and repeated media chatter about her feelings toward her husband.
