Jesse Watters read from the latest installment of "Mom Texts" on Wednesday -- featuring messages he's received from his politically liberal mom, Dr. Anne Watters.

"These are piling up fast," Jesse said with a smile.

The first text simply read, "[Paul] Manafort is a criminal."

"Short and sweet, Mom," Jesse remarked.

Dr. Watters later sent a message calling the Mueller investigation a "three-pronged attack," adding that her son is "coming across as utterly unethical and valueless."

"You don't have the expertise nor the knowledge to question the special counsel's investigation until you know what they know," Dr. Watters wrote.

Jesse's mom also reminded him that America is "a nation of laws" and asked that he "tone down his strident attack on our court system."

"We all know you are a [Trump supporter]. You need not scream it."

Jesse later read one final text from his mom, imploring him not to accept any offer to become President Donald Trump's next chief of staff.

Earlier Wednesday, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) took themselves out of the running for the post, but Jesse said he has yet to be asked.
