Pirro on 'Russian Collusion Delusion': 'Time for the Left to Fold Up Their Fantasy Tents'
In her Opening Statement Saturday evening on “Justice,” Judge Jeanine Pirro said that the anti-Trump left should "fold up their fantasy tents" and go home when it comes to the Russia investigation.
Pirro said the latest news from the Mueller investigation team shows any implication that President Trump has committed impeachable offenses is "Russian collusion delusion nonsense."
She said Special Counsel Robert Mueller, ex-FBI chief James Comey and others have a "nonstop personal vendetta against the president" and that none of the indictments thus far point to illicit ties between Trump and Russia.
Pirro blasted Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), who said on MSNBC that Trump allegedly committed two felonies -- leading host Lawrence O'Donnell to demand that the president "must be impeached."
Pirro said there's little reason why a flawed witness like former Trump attorney Michael Cohen knows anything empirical about alleged impeachable offenses by Trump.
"Cardinal James Comey believes the rules don't apply to him," she added. "He doesn't remember important facts about.. the FISA case that required his approval."
Pirro said the Yonkers, N.Y. native bureaucrat is also an admitted leaker of sensitive information.
