Greg Gutfeld said Tuesday on "The Five" that video of President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and Morocco's King Mohammed VI at a French World War I remembrance ceremony is a "damn good metaphor" for how America leads in the world.

Mohammed VI, the country's leader since 1999, was caught dozing off during a speech being given to mark the century since the war ended.

As the camera pans out, Mrs. Trump is seen looking intently at the unseen speaker, and next to her, the president can be seen glaring at the sleeping king two seats away.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, seated on the other side of President Trump, eventually turns her head to see who or what Trump is scowling at.

"Trump glares while the king naps -- that's a damn good metaphor as we watch over Europe," Gutfeld said.

Gutfeld explained how French President Emmanuel Macron took a veiled swipe at the United States and Trumpian nationalism.

Trump responded to Macron by saying the Frenchman "suffers from a very low approval rating" and that if it weren't for the United States, his countrymen would be speaking German.
