Gutfeld: Americans Rejected Kavanaugh 'Witch Trial' by Defeating Key Dems
Greg Gutfeld said in his monologue on "The Five" that many of the key Senate Democrats who joined the "witch trial" of Justice Brett Kavanaugh lost their seats on Tuesday.
Gutfeld said four of the five red-state Democrats in question lost after they revealed themselves to be "chumps... who rejected due process."
Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Bill Nelson of Florida, Joe Donnelly of Indiana and Claire McCaskill of Missouri are all projected to lose their seats. Nelson is soliciting a recount, citing a razor thin margin between himself and Gov. Rick Scott (R-Fla.).
Gutfeld noted that the fifth Democrat, Sen. Jon Tester of Montana, narrowly held off State Auditor Matt Rosendale (R), and that West Virginia's Joe Manchin won reelection after being the sole Democratic vote in favor of Kavanaugh.
"Many Americans saw the witch trial unfold before their very eyes," he said.
However, Gutfeld said that the two "biggest mobsters" on the Senate panel -- Democrats Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Dianne Feinstein of California --sailed to victory on Tuesday despite their actions.
Other than Hirono, Tester and Feinstein, Gutfeld said that "cowardly actions" against Kavanaugh had "consequences."
"If they don't understand right from wrong, [they'll] understand moving their boxes out," he said.
