President Donald Trump said he can no longer call Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" because a recent DNA test showed she has negligible Native American ancestry.

Trump was stumping for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in Houston when he mentioned top-tier Democratic lawmakers.

"I can no longer call [Warren] Pocahontas because she has no Indian blood," he said. "She doesn't qualify."

Trump said that he "has more Indian blood than her, and I have none."

He said that he cannot use the nickname but said that if the audience does not mind, he will continue to do so anyway.

Trump also riffed on Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).

He called her a "low-IQ individual" and warned that if Democrats take the House in November, she will "be in charge of your finances" as presumptive chairwoman of the financial services committee.

Trump added that Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) "destroyed Newark" when he was mayor of the Garden State's largest city.
