'Someone Has to Start Hitting Back': Conservative, Pro-Trump Comedians Launching 'Deplorables Tour'
'We're leaning right, and it's going to be much more fun.'
Several conservative comedians are taking their acts on the road for a national tour to bring the laughs and to help break the left's "stranglehold" on entertainment and comedy.
“The Deplorables Tour: We’re Funny Because We’re Right” kicks off November 5 at the Houston Improv with more tour dates to follow.
"If you're used to comedy and comedians leaning to the left, we're leaning to the right, and it's going to be much more fun," comedian and sitcom writer Michael Loftus said on "Fox & Friends" Wednesday. "The left has a stranglehold on entertainment, and we're going to fight out of this chokehold. We're kicking out of it."
Loftus will be joined by fellow conservative, pro-President Trump comics Terrence K. Williams and Steve McGrew, in addition to The Deplorables Choir, and he says the tour fills a "huge need."

"The left and the media has demonized this president and demonized anyone on the right. Someone has to start hitting back, for lack of a better word," Loftus said.
He said there is so much fun to poke at the left -- pointing to Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-Vt.) controversial Democratic socialist policies and Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D-Mass.) claims of Native American ancestry -- but it will be open season on everyone with "The Deplorables Tour."
"If you're an idiot, you're going to be made fun of. That's how it's supposed to work."
