Sen. Orrin Hatch made headlines Thursday for pushing back on a female protester who confronted him in a Senate office building.

As Hatch (R-Utah) entered an elevator, a woman accused him of not being "brave enough" to talk to the protesters opposing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Hatch waved his hand, dismissing the the group before telling the woman to "grow up."

"You grow up!" the protester told the 84-year-old Senate President Pro-Tempore, adding, "how dare you talk to a woman that way!" and calling him "disgraceful."

A man in the background shouted, "Do you believe women?!" as the elevator door closed.
