'That's Not Journalism, That's Clickbait': Gutfeld Slams Anonymous NYT Op-Ed
Greg Gutfeld said the controversial New York Times op-ed allegedly written by an anonymous senior Trump administration official "doesn't hurt Trump a bit."
In the piece, titled "I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration," the author claimed to be part of a "resistance" working "from within" to "frustrate parts of [Trump's] agenda and his worst inclinations."
A furious Trump responded by questioning whether the author even existed, and said that if the person does exist, the writer is "gutless" and must be outed for national security purposes.
Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!

On "The Five" on Thursday, Gutfeld singled out one sentence in the op-ed: "We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous."
"Wait a minute. So the country is safer and more prosperous under Trump?" Gutfeld said. "Yep, just two silly variables -- security and prosperity -- which happen to be the best variables ever."
Gutfeld said Trump is succeeding on the substantive issues, so his critics focus on his style.
"If you believe that this Times piece hurts Trump, you might be dumb enough to read the Times," Gutfeld said. "It doesn't hurt him a bit."
He said the scoop from the op-ed is essentially "Trump's not nice."
"That's not journalism, that's clickbait," Gutfeld said. "So, well done, New York Times. You may be the paper of record, but it's a broken one."
