WATCH - 'I Don't Give a Damn What You Appreciate': Gowdy in Heated Clash With Peter Strzok
Embattled FBI agent Peter Strzok clashed with Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) at a House hearing Thursday, where GOP lawmakers grilled Strzok on his alleged bias against President Trump.
The focus of the hearing was the slew of Trump-bashing texts Strzok sent to his former co-worker and lover using his FBI phone, while conducting investigations into Russian election meddling and Hillary Clinton's email server.
Strzok was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe earlier this year after his texts were revealed. Strzok steadfastly maintained that he exhibited no bias in his capacities as a top FBI investigator.

Gowdy pressed him on why Mueller removed him from the Russia probe if Strzok was not biased in any way.
Strzok said it was a "perception" problem that Mueller wanted to avoid. Gowdy countered that 13 Democrats are working on Mueller's probe and have not been removed.
"I don't appreciate what was originally said being changed," Strzok said, accusing Gowdy of misrepresenting his earlier testimony.
"I don't give a damn what you appreciate, Agent Strzok," Gowdy fired back, saying he doesn't appreciate an "FBI agent with an unprecedented level of animus working on two major investigations."
Gowdy's time ran out, but Democrat David Cicilline of Rhode Island demanded Strzok be allowed to answer further, accusing Gowdy of "badgering" him for 15 minutes.
Strzok said there were multiple levels above him and below him at the FBI during the probes, dismissing the idea that he could have influenced either investigation based on a political bias.
"It simply couldn't happen," Strzok answered, adding he took "great offense" to the suggestion that the FBI sought to influence the election.
