Dana Loesch slammed Democrats for "shameless fearmongering" about President Donald Trump's Supreme Court pick.

Trump on Monday nominated District of Columbia Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the impending vacancy of retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy on the high court.

Many Democrats -- including Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) -- condemned the choice and said Kavanaugh, if confirmed, could mean the end of Roe v. Wade and a negative impact on women.

"I love this idea that somehow if you have Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court, that that means that women by some magical force field are going to be prevented from going and seeking health care," Loesch said on "Fox & Friends" Thursday.

She said that abortion is not health care, nor is it a constitutional right.

"We can go on and on about where it actually is and what it could be considered at the federal level or the state level, but this is insanity. But this is all they have left, honestly," Loesch said, calling the rhetoric coming from Democrats "embarrassing."

She said progressives are trying to portray Kavanaugh as a radical, when he is actually a textualist.

"Unless you think that the letter of the law itself is radical -- which is essentially what you’re saying by making this claim against Kavanaugh -- which it's not, then he’s no radical. He’s simply someone who believes in the letter of the law," Loesch said.

"What I think is radical is a party that has moved so far left that they’ve openly embraced socialism. And that’s ultimately what the Democrat Party is now in everything but name."
