Turning Point USA Communications Director Candace Owens said that the left needs to stop fearmongering when it comes to major decisions made by the president.

Owens was reacting to Sen. Dianne Feinstein's warning about President Trump's potential pick for the Supreme Court.

The retirement of Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy will give Trump the opportunity to move the court solidly to the right, and a vacancy on the court could become a key issue in the midterm elections.

Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Friday at a Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California roundtable that Trump's nominee could eviscerate women’s rights.

Trump had said that he would "probably not" ask prospective Supreme Court nominees about their stance on the landmark case.

"I've grown really immune to this rhetoric every single day," Owens said Saturday. "[Democrats] wake up and they decide what they're outraged about. They tell us it's going to be Armageddon every single day."

The left is acting and fearmongering, Owens said, adding that the world is becoming apathetic to their rhetoric.

"In the end, this is ultimately going to help Trump. I think if he ran today he would win by much larger margins than he did in 2016," Owens said.
