Fiery 'Reckless Governance': Loesch Says ICE Stops Flow of Illegal Weapons, But Left Wants to Abolish It?
NRA national spokesperson Dana Loesch said Monday that Democrats appear to be ignoring the ways in which ICE keeps Americans safe.
Speaking on "Fox & Friends," Loesch reacted to the growing calls from the left to abolish the organization, including from prominent Democratic Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris and Dick Durbin.
She questioned why the left fails to highlight ICE agents stopping weapons from crossing the border and arresting human smugglers.
#BorderPatrols agents in AZ stopped a truck with 18 people locked inside with no ventilation, no air conditioning and no water. #CBP is committed to stopping smugglers who put people’s lives at risk every day without concern for their well-being. https://t.co/rB8JxGvE0w pic.twitter.com/9AYSls0bI0

"It’s irresponsible and it’s reckless governance from a party who should know better," said Loesch, explaining that ICE is responsible for rooting out drug and weapons smuggling by drug cartels.
"But we're also talking about the party that sanctioned [Operation] Fast and Furious," she noted.
Loesch said ICE is upholding the law and that voters want immigration laws enforced.
