Following a raucous rally for South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) in West Columbia headlined by President Trump, Sean Hannity said there is new proof the commander-in-chief is a "threat" to the left.

Hannity said some of Trump's opponents have become "utterly psychotic and unhinged."

"Donald Trump was never supposed to be elected by you, the people," he said.

"He is a threat to everything that is wrong about them. His success is the left's worst nightmare," he said.

Hannity said the activist left has resorted to disruptions targeting Trump administration officials and allies, including Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and her family being booted from a restaurant in Virginia over the weekend.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi (R) was targeted by anti-Trump activists at a theater where she was out with her boyfriend to see a documentary on the late "Mister" Fred Rogers.

Bondi later told Hannity the irony she felt when being attacked while trying to attend the film about Rogers, an ordained Pennsylvania minister who went on to be one of the chief voices for tolerance and acceptance through his "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" program.

"Threatening women and children. What is wrong with you people on the left?" Hannity asked.
