A former adviser to Hillary Clinton speculated that President Trump personally funded "multiple" abortions as his administration proposed a change that could cut deeply into federal funding for Planned Parenthood and abortions.

A new rule would make family-planning clinics that provide abortion services or referrals for abortions ineligible for Title X government funding.

"I think what is outrageous here is that no one would be surprised if President Trump himself hadn't personally funded multiple abortions," Democratic strategist Jehmu Greene said.

Greene added that she had no evidence of the abortions but said that no one would be surprised if it were true.

"Would you be surprised?" she asked Pete Hegseth on "The Ingraham Angle."

Greene said that the rule will take away access to basic health care for "many" women and that the president is proposing the change for political reasons.

The $260 million program is for family planning, and the Trump administration's position is that abortion is family-ending.

"Every time we talk about defunding Planned Parenthood, Jehmu and her friends on the left, they just launch these irresponsible misinformation campaigns," Kristin Tate added.

Tate, a columnist for The Hill, said that the left has a narrative to scare women and treat them like a "special interest group."

"It's a shallow attempt by the left to get women voters, and it does not work," Tate said.
