Judge Nap: I Understand the Impatience, But Mueller 'Has No Duty to Show His Cards'

Ben Shapiro criticized liberal media outlets for an imbalance in covering Monday's deadly clash between Israel and Palestinians at the Israel-Gaza border.

The White House said that terrorist group Hamas "bears responsibility" for the violence, which left at least 58 dead and more than 2,700 injured.

Numerous outlets painted Israel as the aggressor in the violence, as its security forces opened fire when mass protests erupted after the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

Shapiro said Hamas has been clear about its intentions, and that the group has said it wants to send thousands of people to storm the border.

"They're not hiding the ball here," he said. "The media are hiding the ball. The media are playing propaganda wing for a terrorist group."

Shapiro criticized the media's "attempt" to link the violence with the embassy's opening.

"This has been going on for weeks," he said. "It's just that the media haven't wanted to cover it, and they would prefer to blame President Trump."

Israel warned that it would prevent protesters from breaking the border at any cost.

Shapiro said the Israelis acted with restraint, and that the media is portraying the them as killing civilians.

"It's just a lie. But the media have been doing that for years," he said.

"We're supposed to believe that this is Israel's fault that Hamas is trying to storm the border?" he said. "It's beyond all definition."
