"Daily Wire" editor Ben Shapiro criticized comedian and Comedy Central writer Michelle Wolf for her crude jokes about White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and having an abortion.

He called the abortion joke the "most egregious joke of the night."

Wolf said that people "shouldn't knock [abortion] until they try it."

"Substitute 'slavery' for 'abortion' and see how funny it is," he said.

Shapiro said it is acceptable to understand that comedians may make edgy jokes about the Trump administration because of Trump's occasional off-color remarks.

But he said that it's unclear where the humor in abortion is.

Shapiro said there is a "double standard" in the type of criticism the liberal press accepts, and what it fights.
