'Lost Their G--Damn Humanity': PBA President Furious Over Release of Cop Killer

A self-proclaimed pro-Trump, pro-gun and pro-life millennial mother is running against a former NFL player for the GOP nomination for Congress in Ohio.

Rep. Christina Hagan said on "Fox & Friends" Sunday that while on the campaign trail with President Donald Trump, it became clear to her that there was a need for "strong fighters in Congress."

"I've always done what I said I was going to do, and quite frankly we need more people like that in [Washington] D.C.," she said.

Hagan touted her experience both politically and as a mother as the reasons why she's the better candidate than Anthony Gonzalez.

"Legislating isn't quite as easy as catching a football," she said.

She also said that she has a better grasp of the opioid epidemic that's affecting her region than Gonzalez.

"There's only one person that's been steadfast in the community and fighting for the community and that person is me," she said.

Hagan, who is currently pregnant with twins, said that it has been an honor to be a "different voice" in the legislative process.
